We are a local, personal and caring community organization with the goal of increasing the capabilities of all community members in the case of possible medical emergencies thru instruction and AHA certification of CPR, rescue breathing, abdominal thrusts, AED, and First Aid.

CLASSES/PACKAGES CONTACT

BLS (Basic Life Support)

This class is for medical providers, EMS, or medical staff.

Class and skill in person

AHA videos are administered in person, then students take an (open book) written exam. Passing score of 85% or higher is required to take the practical skills portion of the class.

Adult, young adult, and infant manikin

Use and operations
BVM

(Bag Valve Mask) operations and rescue breathing.
Choking rescue

Abdominal thrusts in person

HeartSaver

This class is for all non medical providers.

Class and skill in person

AHA videos are administered in person, then students take an (open book) written exam. Passing score of 85% or higher is required to take the practical skills portion of the class.

Splinting (short bone)
bleeding control (Pressure bandages)

BLS Hybrid Class

All participants are required to watch and complete all AHA videos prior to attending the in person skills class.

BLS HYBRID

BLS students are required to bring to practical skills exam their tests papers for scoring in order to move forward to practical skills.

MEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR ADAM

My name is Adam Kaminer. I am a retired NYC 911 EMS provider with over 15 years in the field. I have delivered 8 babies and saved over 24 people post cardiac arrest, Having pronounced well over 400 people deceased and was an active participant in over 6000 cardiac arrests. I have officially been a part of more than 30K calls within NYC. I am the owner/operator of Canyons CPR and First Aid, and fully committed to bring CPR and first aid training to our community on a much higher level. Canyons CPR and First Aid is a mobile training company that can provide classes at any South Florida location including homes, schools, and offices. I am an authorized American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) and HeartSaver expert trained instructor.
